As we all know, infrared ceramic plate is widely used in gas heater and gas bbq grills. Infrared honeycomb ceramic plate has many direct small holes. Its main material is Cordierite which is safe for health and food. So it is the best choice for gas bbq grills. It can not only save energy but also keep stable temperature which can ensure good taste for the roasted food.
For bbq grill, we not only need prepare good quality and suitable infrared ceramic plate. But also need correct installation method. We normally has two method to install the ceramic plate into the gas grill.
The first way is to use glass powder We normally use white color as it looks more comfortable. The glass powder need mixed with glass water to ensure its sufficient viscosity. Of cause, we should choose the glass powder with high temperature resistance. It need normally resist more than 900℃. otherwise it will soften during working.But it is very troublesome to export glass powder and glass water if the user don’t know how to use it. So we will also advise our customer to use thermal insulation tape.
The thermal insulation tape is made of alumina an silicon. So it can resist more than 1100 ℃. It can be cut to different size and shape according to the thickness of the infrared ceramic plate.The thermal insulation tape has different thickness including 1mm,2mm,3mm,5mm and so on. We can choose the suitable thickness according to our stove.The width of the tape is normally the thickness of the infrared ceramic plate. Because the thickness of the infrared ceramic plate is normally 13mm. So the thermal insulation tape is 13mm width and 3mm thickness. One roll is normally 20m or design as per customers requirement.
There are two types of insulation tape.One is common thermal insulation paper without adhesion. Another one is adhesive which is self adhered and very convenient for using.But the price is a little higher than the common one.
