Gas burner plate is one of the type of honeycomb ceramic plate. It is far infrared. So it has high performance of heat flowing with stable temperature. The gas burner plate is made of cordierite with many micro holes so it can store thermal very well which is the main reason why honeycomb ceramic infrared plate can keep high temperature and save energy.
Gas burner plate is widely used in gas heater, gas barbecue grill, chicken baking oven and so on.It can be used for both natural gas and liquid gas burner. It is normally called ceramic infrared gas burner plate, bbq ceramic, infrared ceramic tile and so on.
Normally, different gas burner designed different type of ceramic plate. Not only for different outsize, but also different hole size. We have about 100 different standard sizes of infrared ceramic plate. For special shape, we can also make mold for customers. The hole size it normally Dia 1.0mm, dia1.25mm, dia 1.38mm, dia1.45, dia1.6mm. The hole size could also be customized.
The gas burner plate normally has three type of surface pattern, you can also choose no pattern type.
Type one: diamond pattern
Type two: number 8 pattern
Type three: plum blossom pattern
Normally the bbq burner will use infrared ceramic plate with dia1mm and dia1.25mm. And the heater burner will choose infrared ceramic plate with hole of dia1.38 and dia1.45 or other size of hole.
Different type of gas burner will design different size of novel. This is why different burner will choose different hole size of infrared ceramic plate. Normally larger novel, larger hole diameter.
How to install the infrared ceramic plate into the gas burner?
Normally we have two methods to install it.
The first one is to use the special clay. If you don’t know where to buy it, we can prepare for you.The clay is the mixture of special powder and water glass.
The second method is to use heat insulation cotton tape. The heat resist cotton tape include low temperature heat insulation cotton tape and high temperature heat insulation cotton tape. You can choose the correct one according to the working temperature.
