The main material of infrared honeycomb ceramic burner plate is Cordierite. The plate is normally round or square shape. The working principle of the infrared honeycomb ceramic burner is as below
1.The gas ejected from the nozzle at some pressure
2.Injecting the full air required by burning
3.The gas and air are mixed in the injector and get into the case after the static pressure increased.Then it flows from the small hole with speed 0.1-0.14m/s and burns completely at the surface of the infrared honeycomb ceramic plate. The flame is very short or even out of sight. So it is also called non-flame burning. When burning, the honeycomb ceramic plate becomes red and the temperature is up to 850 ℃ to 900 ℃. The infrared way wave is normally about 2um.
